Street Consti Initiative

The UM Consti Team believes that we have gone astray from our initial goal, in that we are unable to connect well enough with the general public with regard to constitutional and human rights issues. This is because our contents have been increasingly filled with legal jargon which may be too complex for the ordinary member of society to relate to, eventually becoming too burdensome and “uninteresting”, resulting in a lower social engagement rate. In light of that, we realised the need to go back to basics and connect with the Public by educating the public regarding constitutional issues in a fun and digestible manner. Hence, the “Street Consti Initiative” aims to go back to basics and educate the public regarding basic constitutional literacy that every member of the Malaysian society ought to know at the very least, in a fun and engaging manner.
